Recently, the 2019 International Cultural Carnival of SWPU was held. The carnival was sponsored and organized the Office of Student Affairs and the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange. More than 500 domestic and international students gathered together to participate in this exciting cultural event.

The theme of the carnival is “Studying Abroad, Realizing Your Dream”. Stories of students from all over the world coming to China and realizing their dream in SWPU were shared in this event.

Sponsored by the Department of Student Affairs, the International Cultural Carnival is one of the featured events for international students, under the “Study in the Southwest” initiative. The initiative aims at promoting the communication of Chinese traditions and culture.

Leadership from the Department of Student Affairs, Office of Campus Safety, the Dean’s Office, Office of International Communication and Exchange and the faculties were invited to the event. (provided by the Department of Student Affairs)
