From July 19 to 22, the 2019 National College Student Shooting Championships were held in Anhui Province. Our university’s shooting team won 6 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals.

The Championships are divided into athlete group and non-athlete group, and include 16 events in 3 categories (air rifle, air pistol and small caliber). A total of 24 team/individual gold medals were awarded.

12 SWPU students took part in 5 events in the air rifle and the air pistol category. In the non-athlete group, our university won the team champion, individual champion, runner up and third place in men’s air pistol, team champion, individual champion and the third place in men’s air rifle, and the team champion, individual champion, runner up and third place in women’s air pistol. The Championships also allowed our team to participate in team competitions in the athlete group, and we have won the third place in both men’s air pistol and men’s air rifle.
