The 2^ndSichuan Sports Dance Competition was held during September 7-8 at Meishan City Stadium. Our university's dance team won 2 team gold medals, 2 individual champions, 3 individual runners-up, and 2 third places.

More than 2000 athletes in 77 teams from universities all over Sichuan Province participated the game. Two days of intense competition has witnessed 33 team gold medals, 20 team silver medals and various individual awards.

In team competitions, our university's dance team won gold medal in Latin group dance and women's six-person self-edited Latin dance.

In individual competitions, all our team members got into the top eight of their respective groups, and won 2 champions, 3 second places, 2 third places, and 6 fourth to eighth places.

Our university's dance team consisted of 21 people with 18 athletes. Xiang Jianfeng, deputy dean at School of P.E., was the team leader. Young teachers Hu Yingshu and Tang Xiangqi were coaches. (provided by School of P.E.)
