The 16th National Academic Conference on Oil Storage and Transportation in Higher Education  Held in Southwest Petroleum University

The 16th National Academic Conference on Oil Storage and Transportation in Higher Education was held in Southwest Petroleum University from July 13 to 15, and 240 experts from different universities, enterprises and scientific research institutes attended the conference. 

On the first day of this conference, Huang Weihe, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Tang Lin, vice general manager of China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Corporation, Cheng Yufeng, academician of the European Academy of Sciences, and other 11 experts delivered keynote speeches about theories and technologies of oil and gas storage and transportation, discipline construction and development as well as engineering certification.

The conference set up five parallel sessions on the second day, including Discipline Construction of Oil and Gas ,Storage and Transportation, Discipline Evaluation, Engineering Application and so on, and 44 experts made presentations and exchanged at the parallel sessions about the latest results on the academic research and discipline construction of Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation Engineering.

During the meeting, experts also visited the expert teaching laboratory and research laboratory of oil and gas storage and transportation in Southwest Petroleum University, where advanced equipment and abundant results have left a deep impression on the experts.

It is decided that the 17th National Academic Conference on Oil Storage and Transportation in Higher Education will be held at Liaoning Shihua University.
