Xin Chen: He was born in Shandong, China, and received his B.S. degree in Chemistry and M.S. degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics in 2007 and 2010, respectively, from Ludong University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Environmental Science from Beijing University of Technology in 2014. Then he worked in the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Southwest Petroleum University and is currently an Assistant Professor. From 2014−2016 he did his postdoctoral research at Peking University with Professor Dingguo Xia. His current research interests include the structure and properties for energy conversion and storage materials, ammonia decomposition catalyst, electrochemical reactions, and the applications of computational chemistry.
