报告题目:Molecular Design Principles for Benzoxazine Resins towards Smart, Ultra-high Performance, and Easily Processable Materials: From the Nature to Aerospace

摘要:Benzoxazine resin is known to have the highest molecular design flexibility among all the polymers to tailor the desired properties.  Despite this unparalleled potential advantage, the molecular design principles are not yet well understood.  In this lecture, parameters, such as hydrogen bonding, isomeric structures, substituent effects, and many other factors will be evaluated.  Both experimental and theoretical approaches, such as two-dimensional NMR and ab-initio calculation are used to understand the structure-property relationship.  Based on these understandings, smart, ultra-high performance and/or easy to process benzoxazine resins are developed.  Examples from the use of natural renewable resources to deep space travel applications will be introduced.

报告人简介:Hatsuo Ishida,美国凯斯西储大学教授、博士生导师、美国化学学会会士、德国洪堡学者。Ishida教授博士毕业于美国凯斯西储大学高分子科学系,长期致力于新型苯并噁嗪树脂及其复合材料的研究。目前已出版专著12部,获得发明专利40项,发表学术论文490余篇,论文被引用22300余次,H因子达到80。担任Composite Interfaces期刊主编,Polymers and Polymer Composites期刊副主编,以及12个其它期刊编委会成员。
